Travis Barker and DJ AM in plane crash

Friday September 19th, 2008 just before midnight a Learjet carrying 6 people crashed in South Carolina killing the pilots and 2 passengers. Pilot Sarah Lemmon, 31, of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; co-pilot James Bland, 52, of Carlsbad, Calif.; Barker assistant Chris Baker, 29, of Studio City, Calif.; and Barker security guard Charles Still, 25, of Los Angeles were tragically killed in the crash caused by “sparks”, which the crew thought to be a blown tire upon take off. Travis Barker, one of the worlds best drummers and DJ AM, one of the best Spinners known together as TRVSDJ-AM were severely burned. Travis Barker was a former member of the pop band Blink-182, and has been on a solo career as of late. One of his most famous remixes was of “crank dat Soljah Boy - Tellem” seen here on YouTube, which just goes to prove his talent is not limited to the pop sounds of Blink fame.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those in this horrible accident. Get well soon Barker and Goldstein (DJ AM).
